Abstract
Body elongate, fusiform; size relatively small, generally not exceeding one meter; body covered with cycloid deciduous scales; cheeks scaled; corselet indistinct; lateral lines, two, first commencing fr om upper angle of operculur:1 and running along upper half of body to almost commencement of caudal keel while second branches off from former below vertical from third dorsal spine, descending to lower half of body to join first lateral line in a vertical below penultimate dorsal finlet
