Abstract
The Arrowhead dogfish, Deania profundorum (Smith & Radcliffe, 1912) (Family Centrophoridae) a deep sea squalid shark previously reported only from South Africa and Gulf of Aden in the Indian ocean has been observed in the landings by the hooks and line fishing fleet from Cochin Fisheries Harbour.
