Abstract

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra works as Resources and Knowledge Centre in the areas of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. The activities include On Farm Testing to identify the location Specificity of agricultural technologies under various farming systems, Font Line Demonstration to establish its production potentials on the farmers' fields, training offarmers to update their knowledge and skills in modern agricultural technologies, and training of extension personnel to orient them in the frontier areas of technology development. In order to speed up the process of dissemination of technology, various other extensions activities, production and distribution of quality seeds and other planting materials are also undertaken.
