Abstract
This small-sized flatfish is known from only 11 specimens collected in the Red Sea. It is generally found in nearshore, soft-bottom habitats adjacent to coral reefs. It is not targeted. Virtually nothing is available regarding its distribution, population size or trends and potential threats. Therefore, it is listed as Data Deficient.
