Abstract
This moderate-sized flatfish is known from the northern Indian Ocean in shallow, inshore areas. It is a component of bycatch in demersal trawl and seine net fisheries. No data are available regarding its population size and trends or potential impacts of threats. Therefore, it is listed as Data Deficient.
