Abstract
This moderate-sized flatfish is known from deep-waters of the northern Indian Ocean. Data are limited regarding its distribution, population size and trends. It is taken incidentally in demersal trawl fisheries; however, this is not considered to be a major threat at this time as the majority of its depth range is beyond typical trawling depths. Therefore, it is listed as Least Concern.
