Abstract
This moderate-sized flatfish is known from Namibia and South Africa. Data are limited regarding its population size or trends. It is a component of sole fisheries as well as bycatch of other demersal trawl fisheries but no data are available regarding the potential impacts of exploitation on this species. Therefore, it is listed as Data Deficient.
