Abstract
The National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) has approved the development of 100 Climate-Resilient Coastal Fishing Villages under the Annual Action Plan 2024-25, with a total outlay of Rs. 200 crore. This initiative aims to enhance the economic resilience of coastal communities impacted by climate change The initiative, part of the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY), allocates Rs. 2 crore per village to develop essential fisheries infrastructure.
