Abstract
This report, “Issues, Practices & Opportunities in Application of Insurance as a tool for Marine Fisheries Management and to Build Resilience in the Sector in South Asia” is prepared by the Bay of Bengal Programme Inter-Governmental Organisation (BOBP-IGO) in response to the evolving climate risks and other risks in the marine fisheries sector and the need for building resilience in the South Asia region with a special focus on the Bay of Bengal region and the artisanal and the small-scale fisheries sector. The project work is funded under a Grant received from the World Bank Trust Fund.
