Abstract

During the period from September to December 2010, unusually heavy landings of unicorn leather jacket Aluterus monoceros (Linnaeus 1758) were landed at Chennai Fisheries Harbour. Particularly in the month of November 2010 about 15 tonnes of unicorn leather jackets were landed by Mechanized Thangal Trawlers.
