Abstract

Women Power Growth in Oyster Farming: Impact of ICAR's World Bank aided NAIP value-chain scheme on high value shellfishes CMFRI Video This short movie documents the impacts made by implementing the World Bank aided NAIP value-chain scheme on high value shellfish, oysters. The movie describes the developments of several new protocols for oyster production and processing. The impact of the newly developed value-chain on live oysters is brought out with several stakeholder interviews. All these developments have been powered by women SHGs in Ernakulam district of Kerala.
