    Abstract

    Although crab fishery is not a Major industry in India, it is a source or income to many fishermen at this area particularly during the off-season. At the present rate or exploitat ion the possibility of depleting the stock may not happen in the immediate future, But in course of time the crab fishery, like any other fishery of our country , has possibilities of expansion.
