Abstract
This article, compiled from various sources for teaching postgraduate students in mariculture, is an attempt to provide a deeper understanding in aquatic feed extrusion technology, which would be of use to current and potential users of extrusion equipment. Extrusion today is also seen as a cheaper alternative to conventional animal protein production which requires investment in crores of rupees in the Indian context.
