Abstract

The Fishery Oceanographic Research Vessel Sagar Sampada has continued regular fishery oceanographic cruises within the Exclusive Economic zone of India during the period under report (Aug. 1988 to July 1989), The vessel undertook 10 scientific cruises (Cruise Nos. 51 to 60), of which five were off the northeast coast/ one off the southeast coast and four in the Andaman Sea. A total number of 186 oceanographic/fishing stations were occupied during this period.
