Abstract
Holothuria scabra commonly called sand fish, is one of the most commercially important and widely distributed holothurian species, chiefly distributed along Gulf of Mannar, Palk Bay and Andaman and Nicobar Islands along the Indian coast and is considered to be an ideal candidate for natural stock restoration programme.
