Abstract
The introduction of out board engines in the recent past has changed the face of the traditional fishing activities. This modified the shape and structure of many existing crafts and gears. One of the significant out come is the facility to drag or pull the net through the water by the country crafts with the aid of out board engines, which was unimmaginable to the traditional fishermen until recently.
