Abstract
A Tiger shark [Galeocerdo cuuierij and a Skate [pristis microdoril were landed on 23.12.1992 at Digha, near Contai, West Bengal by a gill netter which operated Baram gill net of 17.5 cm mesh size, 1600 m length and 14 m depth.
