Abstract

A Zebra shark (Stegostomafasciaturril (Fig. 1 & 2 )caught in a monofilament gill net operted at 12 m about 5 km away from the shore near the mouth of Moni river was landed on 11-2-1994 at Raidighi fish landing centre near Contai, Midnapur, West Bengal.
