Abstract
The inauguration of India’s first Mariculture Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Hub at Veraval reflects our focus on empowering coastal communities through technology, entrepreneurship and capacity building. Our active engagement in national initiatives such as the Marine Fisheries Census 2025, climate-resilient fisheries discussions and stakeholder consultations on marine biodiversity and sustainable resource management highlights the Institute’s commitment to science-based governance and ecosystem stewardship.
