Abstract
Any production system for its success requires quality input supply, economic production technologies, storage system and efficient marketing channels working in tandem. So is the case with Agriculture too. Whereas this production system has to face additional burden of uncertain climate and related parameters also. We believe viewing agriculture in a holistic way and by taking care of all the above parameters only can be sustainable and profitable. The ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Ernakulam of ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute is working towards betterment of Agriculture and its allied fields by keeping the above concept as centre of all its programmes.
