Abstract
Nano-based formulations have become a focal point of research in medicine, biotechnology, and materials science. This chapter examines recent trends in designing and producing such formulations. Nanomedicine has revolutionized drug delivery, yielding improved therapeutic outcomes and targeted treatments. In agriculture, nanoformulations have enhanced crop yield and eco-friendly practices through precise nutrient delivery and pest control. Cosmetics have benefited from nanoliposomes, enabling better penetration and efficacy of bioactive compounds in skincare products. Moreover, nano-based materials play a pivotal role in environmental remediation by removing pollutants from soil and water. Advanced techniques, such as green synthesis and microfluidics, have facilitated the eco-friendly and controlled production of nanoparticles. Despite these breakthroughs, safety concerns regarding nanomaterials necessitate further investigation for responsible implementation. However, nano-based formulations hold immense promise, propelling innovation across industries and promoting sustainable practices when safety is appropriately addressed.
