Abstract
Welcome to the Know Your Marine Biodiversity & Environment (MarBiE 3) short-term training program on “Water and Sediment Analytical Techniques with Special Reference to Marine Life”. This manual is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge to assess and monitor marine ecosystems. By delving into a range of analytical techniques, this course aims to foster a deeper understanding of the innate interplay among water quality, sediment characteristics, and marine biodiversity. Through hands-on training and theoretical insights the participants will gain the ability to identify and quantify key environmental parameters, assess the potential impacts of human activities, and contribute to the conservation and sustainable management of our marine ecosystems.
