Abstract
The paper deals with the growth pattern, numerical abundance and depth-wise distribution in relatioQ to the stage of development and day and night hauls of palinurid and scyllarid phyllosoma larvae. The vertical distribution of these larvae in relation to the density of the water is also discussed. The study is based on the material collected from the Indian Ocean by the Dana Expedition, 1928-30.
