Abstract
രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ വിദേശനാണ്യവരുമാനത്തിൽ വൻചോർച്ചയുണ്ടാക്കുകയും പാവപ്പെട്ട മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ ജീവിതത്തെ കൂടുതൽ ദരിദ്രമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന വിദേശക്കപ്പലുകളുടെ മീൻപിടിത്തം വിലക്കാനുള്ള കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ തീരുമാനം വൈകിയുള്ളതാണെങ്കിൽപ്പോലും പ്രശംസനീയമാണ്. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സമുദ്രാതിർത്തിക്കുള്ളിൽ സർക്കാർ നൽകുന്ന അനുമതിപത്രത്തിന്റെ മറവിൽ നിർബാധം നടത്തിയിരുന്ന മീൻകൊള്ളയ്ക്ക് ഇതോടെ അറുതിവരും.
