Abstract
രാജ്യത്ത് സമുദ്രകൃഷിയില്‍ മുന്നേറ്റത്തിന് വഴിതെളിച്ച് കടല്‍ മത്സ്യമായ കലവയുടെ (കടല്‍ കറൂപ്പ്) വിത്തുത്പാദനം കേന്ദ്ര സമുദ്രമത്സ്യ ഗവേഷണ സ്ഥാപനം (സി.എം.എഫ്.ആര്‍.ഐ.) വിജയകരമായി പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കി. ഉയര്‍ന്ന വിപണന മൂല്യമുള്ള മത്സ്യമാണ് കലവ. ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ആദ്യമായാണ്, ഗള്‍ഫ് നാടുകളില്‍ ആമൂര്‍ എന്ന പേരില്‍ വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന കലവയുടെ വിത്തുത്പാദനം വന്‍തോതില്‍ വിജയകരമായി നടത്തുന്നത്.
