Abstract
Juvenile of the spiny lobster Panulirus homarus, reared in the laboratory attained sexual maturity under laboratory conditions. They successfully mated and Spawned in captivity for the first time in India. The carapace length of the two females at the first sexual maturity add berried condition were 57.8 mm and 57.9 mm. The approximate incubation pried of the berry was found to be 15 days.
