Abstract
A report on the seaweed resources off Tamil Nadu coast, India II Sector The survey of II Sector from Alantalai (Near Tiruchendur) to Manapad was conducted during 1987-88. In addition the survey from Vembar to Nallatanni Tivu was also done to cover the remaining portion of the sea coast between Kilakarai and Tuticorin. This part of the coast could not be covered during the I Sector Survey due to unfavourable sea conditions in April 1987.
