Abstract

Descriptions of A. (T.) granosa and A. (R.) rhombea based on adequate material coming from different localities along the Indian Coast and outside India are given. The differences beween these two species are brought out. It was gathered that the specimens of A. (T.) granosa in the Linnaean Society, London may not respresent the type material, but the specimen of this rpecies in the Zoological Museum of the University of Uppsala, Sweden can reasonably be considered as syntype.
