Abstract
Diseases exert heavy economic losses in fish and shrimp culture due to mortality, morbidity, poor product quality and costs associated with chemotherapy. Aquaculturists are, therefore interested in developing cost effective management strategies that would prevent the outbreak and /or reduce the severity of epizootics.
