Abstract

Oceans are the life blood of the earth. They regulate the earth's climate by acting as huge storage houses of the heat from the sun. They are inexaustable sources of power. They contain immense mineral deposits. They have vast stores of plant and animal life which can be effetively used as food for the growing population on earth.
