Abstract
In the seafood industry of the world, mariculture has been assuming import- ance in recent years. Mariculture or the practice of culturing marme plants and animals in suitable locallties in the sea or in saline waters in the adjoining land, by uslng efficient ways and means appears to have been in existence in one form or other from time immemorial.
