Abstract
Demonstration of techniques of prawn seed collection from the natural environment; identification of prawn seed; selection of farm sites; construction of ponds; design, construcition and fixing of sluices; productivity of water areas; fertilisation of ponds; monitoring of soil and water conditions; pest and predator control; selective stocking; collection and transport of spawners; breeding of prawns and rearing of larvae to the stage suitable for stocking; culture of live food organisms, preparation of compounded feed and feeding; pond management; harvesting technology.
