Abstract
The speaker highlighted the growing importance of mariculture as a sustainable approach to meeting the increasing demand for fish while reducing pressure on declining wild fish stocks. With capture fisheries reaching their maximum sustainable limits due to over-exploitation, mariculture has emerged as a viable alternative for ensuring future seafood production.
