Abstract
To mark nearly eight decades of research in marine science, the ICAR-CMFRI celebrated its 79th Foundation Day by hosting an ‘Open House’ at its Mandapam Regional Centre for the benefit of students and the general public. The event, designed to bridge the gap between scientific research and the community, drew a crowd of over 3,000 students from Ramanathapuram and Sivagangai districts, along with approximately 250 members of the general public.
