Abstract

This Abstract Book compiles the essence of 501 scientific contributions from researchers representing institutions across India and abroad. The breadth of topics underscores the diversity and dynamism of marine sciences today, ranging from fundamental ecological understanding to applied innovations in mariculture, climate resilience, pollution mitigation and blue economy pathways. I extend my sincere appreciation to all contributors for sharing their valuable research findings and to the members of the Organising and Scientific Committees for their unwavering efforts in shaping MECOS4. The Editorial Team deserves special appreciation for their meticulous efforts in compiling, reviewing and organising the abstracts into this comprehensive volume.
