Abstract
മത്തിയുടെ ലഭ്യതയിലെ ഏറ്റക്കുറച്ചിലുകൾക്ക് കാരണം മൺസൂൺ മഴയും സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മാറ്റങ്ങളുമെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര സമുദ്രമത്സ്യ ഗവേഷണ സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ പുതിയ പഠനം. കേരള തീരത്ത് കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം മത്തിയുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി വർധിച്ചതിനും തുടർന്നുണ്ടായ പാരിസ്ഥിതികവും സാമ്പത്തികവുമായ പ്രത്യാഘാതങ്ങൾക്കും കാരണം മൺസൂൺ മഴയിലെ മാറ്റങ്ങളാണെന്നാണ് പഠനം.
