Abstract
കടലിലോ തീരപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലോ എത്തിച്ചേരുന്ന മനുഷ്യനിർമ്മിതങ്ങളായ ഏതുതരം മാലിന്യങ്ങളെയും 'കടൽ മാലിന്യങ്ങൾ' എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കാം. പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്, തടി, ലോഹങ്ങൾ, ഗ്ലാസ്, റബ്ബർ, തുണികൾ, മത്സ്യബന്ധന വലകൾ, കടലാസ് തുടങ്ങി വിവിധ ഖരവസ്തുക്കൾ ഇതിൽപ്പെടുന്നു.
