Abstract
കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലെ നടുവണ്ണൂരിലെ വീട്ടിലെ കിണറ്റിൽനിന്ന് ബക്കറ്റിൽ ശേഖരിച്ച വെള്ളത്തിൽ ജൂഹു എന്ന് വിളിപ്പേരുള്ള ധൻവി ധീര എന്ന കൊച്ചു മിടുക്കി മൊട്ടുസൂചിയോളം വലിപ്പമുള്ള ഒരു മീനിനെ കണ്ടെത്തി. ജുഹു കണ്ടെത്തിയ ആ മീനിന് പാംഗിയോ ജുഹുവ (Pangio Juhuae) എന്ന പേരിട്ടു. സി എം എഫ് ആർ ഐ യിലെ സംഘമാണ് ഈ മത്സ്യം പുതിയ ഇനം ഭൂഗർഭ മത്സ്യമാണെന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്
