Abstract

India’s carbon emissions from the marine mechanized fisheries sector are 16.3% lower than the global average, according to a study conducted by CMFRI from select fishing centers of all the maritime states of the country, dividing the fishing-related activities into three phases — pre-harvesting, harvesting, and post-harvesting.
