Abstract

As part of the consultancy project taken up by the Madras Research Centre of CMFRI, for the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women Ltd., a series of scientists and fishermen interaction meetings were conducted to discuss issues regarding the deployment of artificial reefs in nearshore waters in 16 selected fishing villages of Nagapatnam, Pudukottai, Cuddalore, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvalluvar districts.
