Abstract
During the quarter, the institute has seen good outcomes from the various projects it operated. The MoU for commercial production of Cadalmin ADe, an anti-diabetic nutraceutical prepared from seaweeds and the annual official release of the marine fish landings data are worth mentioning. During the period the institute also got recognition under Registered Scientific Institutions List of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), which will facilitate species conservation research activities.
