Abstract

Mariculture contributes 36.5% of the global aquaculture production by quantity, producing a variety of high value finfish, crustaceans and molluscs. In the context of declining catch rate from capture fisheries on a global basis, the development and expansion of mariculture has the potential to augment seafood production
