Abstract
The world is facing an acute -shortage of food as terrestrial resources are not adequate to meet the increasing needs of the human populations. So, to augment the food production, a suitable alternative is sea food, f ish being the best and probably a cheaper source of animal protein than egg, milk and meat. But here again the capture fish er ies are not sufficient to satisfy the growing demands of the starving population.
