Abstract
Live Feed such as diatoms, artemia, rotifers, etc., play a vital role in the hatchery production of seeds. Without these live feeds, it is not possible to achieve good survival rate. India has immense potential to produce many kinds of live feeds and unfortunately the commercial production on a regular basis is yet to make a beginning. Therefore, the Organising Committee of the 'INDAQUA', the first Aquaculture Show in India decided to bring out this handbook for the benefit of hatchery operators.
