Abstract
Time series data on catch and effort tor the early sixties to the mid eighties have been used tor the assessment at optimum yield tram tive reservoirs in Tamil Nadu by using Schaeter and Fox models. Fishing in respect at all these reservoirs has almost reached the optimum levels.
