Abstract
Fresh water fish culture has made rapid strides in this country following the researches carried out by the Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute and the development of the technique of composite fish culture. It has been demonstrated thot a several fold increase in yield is possible by mixed farming of Ihdian and exotic varieties of carps.
