Abstract
MPEDA is organising 'INOAQUA', the first Giant Aquac· ulture Show In India with the main objective of creating awareness on huge untapped aquaculture potential of our country and to open a new frontier in health food production, employment and income generation to the rural mass, eradition of l1)alnutrition and earning of precious foreign exchange to the nation. 'INDAQUA' also provides a unique opportunity to meet all agencies concerned with aquaculture development under one umbrella. On this occasion, MPEOA is bringing out thls handbook on Prawn Natchery. highlighting salient features on technology and economics. This book on shrimp hatchery is specially designed to deal with various operational and mana· gerial aspects of shrimp hatchery production of seeds. - I would like to place on record, the financial support extended by 'Bank of India · the Bank that cares', Bombay for printing this publication.
