Abstract
During the year 1982 - 83 substantial pragress was made in the development of infrastructure faci litles for the research and development programmas of the Institute. These included tfie taking over of the Research Vessel SKIPJACK for regular exploratory aurveyr, the acquisition of farms for mariculture programmes and the construction of the labontory buildings and procurement of aquipments.
