Abstract
The total marine fish landinqs in India during the year 1977 was provisionally estimated at 1122544 tonnes against 1352855 tonnes durlng 1976 showing a decline of 230111 tonnes, Representing a decrease of about 17%, except in Kerala and Karnataka the total landing declined in all the maritime states of India
