Abstract
Haricharan Das, a 70 year old fish farmer from the state of Tripura has contributed commendably to wards fisheries development through his own unique efforts. His, is a success story of fruitful endevours, painstaking trials and above all, self confidence, which earned him the long awaited acclaim in ways more than one.
